2023-24 Impact Report

The team at Cystic Fibrosis Canada is pleased to share our 2023-24 Impact Report. Entitled Forward Together, it summarizes the accomplishments of the past year as we work with the Canadian CF community to make longer, healthier and fuller lives a reality for all Canadians with cystic fibrosis. 

Our progress in 2023-24 reflects that we are at a crossroads in CF. Responding to the realities of CF today and preparing for the needs of tomorrow means there is much work still to be done. But there is also much to celebrate. Here are just a few ways we made a difference last year, together: 

• Thanks to our work with a strong and engaged network of patient advocates and clinical experts, we improved access to life-changing treatments for younger Canadians with CF. 
• Through our Healthcare Advisory Council, we introduced new guidelines to help clinical care keep pace with the changing state of the disease. 
• We launched a new roadmap for our research investments to ensure they align with the priorities of the Canadian CF community, fuel innovation, and create impact sooner for those who need it most. 

As always, we are grateful to our generous supporters whose gifts make our work possible, and to the CF community – our “why” – whose continued engagement informs and advances our mission.  

Together, we are making meaningful strides so that all Canadians with CF can live fully, beyond the limits of the disease.
